World Family Foundation is a non-profit organization whose ideal is to assist needy children with basic care wherever it is most beneficial. Our first project, a school/orphanage in Puri, India, was set up by our founder, Elizabeth Burnett. This in response to the horrible aftermath of the 1999 cyclone which killed 10,000 people and left many families unable to procure even the barest of necessities for survival. World Family Foundation is now the sole benefactor of the 65+ children enrolled in Prashanti Preschool Chatasalis, providing housing, clothing and food. Our current projects also include sponsorship of students in orphanages in Sri Lanka as well as students at a multi-cultural school in Israel.

Our Board of Directors includes experienced individuals who are committed to helping others and changing the world, one child at a time. All positions are volunteer posts so that more than 95% of donated funds goes directly to projects that benefit the children we are helping. These children totally rely on your kind generosity. So, please, assist us in making the world a better place to live.
